They could easily do seven seasons if they introduced the mother now and incorporated her into the show - but if they are really set on having the final scene of the show be 'AND THAT'S HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER', then they should cut it short. It's just getting ridiculous drawing it out like this. Not that I want that, because I love these characters and don't want them to go away!
